PRP is Platelet-Rich Plasma.
Use your own platelet rich plasma to revitalize your skin! La Chele Medical Aesthetics in New Hope PA is excited to announce the addition of PRP to our exclusive treatment options!
What is PRP?
PRP is a high concentration of platelets and tissue building elements. This plasma has been shown to release at least eight essential growth factors that play a significant role in cell growth, angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels), collagen production and repair of damaged tissues. In essence, this treatment is used to reverse the signs of aging by optimizing your own body’s ability to heal itself.
The Benefits of PRP…
- Stimulation of proteins that increase collagen production
- Improved appearance of fine lines & wrinkles
- Skin Tightening and volumization
- Remarkable enhancement of skin texture, tone and other skin surface imperfections
- Minimization of scarring and stretch marks
- Angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels)
- Pore Reduction
How does PRP work?
A small volume of blood, no more than what is required for a basic lab test, is drawn by your practitioner. This vial of blood will be placed in a centrifuge, a device that spins the blood at a rapid rate in order to separate the platelets from the red and white blood cells. By doing so, the platelet-rich plasma is optimally concentrated with minimal amounts of contaminating red and white blood cells.
The use of PRP can be combined with microneedling, Infini IPL or filler to further enhance the results of your treatment. Our highly-skilled medical team will create a customized treatment based on your skin type and individualized needs.
Microneedling with PRP
Microneedling has proven to be a highly effective non-laser treatment to induce natural collagen production and aid in the reduction fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, and acne scars. Adding topically-applied PRP to your microneedling treatment will amplify its effects by encouraging your own skin to make collagen and remodel damaged tissue. The microscopic punctures created by microneedling serve as channels for this highly-concentrated plasma to penetrate into the dermis of the skin, delivering these potent growth factors where they need to be. We can safely treat the face, neck and décolletage using this technique all with minimal downtime!
INFINI with PRP
The treatment everyone is buzzing about is now even more effective with the addition of PRP! INFINI delivers pulses of high-intensity RF energy to precise depths through very fine, gold-coated microneedles. The needles create tiny channels through which heat energy can bypass the outer layer of skin, allowing the heat to reach deeper levels needed for optimal collagen contraction. By combining this powerful treatment with the high concentration of growth factor-rich platelets, you will optimize your results substantially!
PRP can also be injected to stimulate collagen and enhance the volumizing effect of your dermal fillers. PRP injections can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and even dark undereye circles.
IPL with PRP
Because platelet activation has been shown to accelerate the wound healing process, PRP applied after an IPL Photofacial can reduce the downtime associated with this treatment. Patients may experience a reduction in redness and inflammation. Looking to amp up your skin rejuvenation results even more? Our highly-skilled laser technicians can combine this light-based treatment with microneedling and PRP to provide an even more dramatic improvement of skin tone and texture. Optimal results can be achieved with a series of 4 treatments spaced one month apart.
